Enter your gingerbread house in this annual contest sponsored by Poquoson Office of Community Recreation & Poquoson Public Library. Great prizes available. Teams or individuals welcome to enter.
Houses may be constructed using base kits. All materials used in the construction process must be edible. Candies must be unwrapped. Entries should show originality and creativity.

Annual Poquoson Lighted Christmas Parade
(Rescheduled) Friday, Dec. 4th, 2026 7pm

Event features band, twirlers, community and civic groups highlighting the holiday season.

Parade begins at Kelsor and Wythe Creek Road and follows to the Intersection of Victory and Wythe Creek Road.

Viewing stand is located at Dominion Village Senior Living (a proud sponsor of the parade event!)

All entries must have designers name, age, and phone number on the underside of the house. No entry will be accepted without this information. Prizes will be awarded. Winners will be notified at the library.
