Gingerbread House
Making Contest

​Enter your gingerbread house in this annual contest sponsored by Poquoson Office of Community Recreation & Poquoson Public Library. Great prizes available. Teams or individuals welcome to enter.
Houses may be constructed using base kits. All materials used in the construction process must be edible. Candies must be unwrapped. Entries should show originality and creativity.
All entries must be dropped off at the Poquoson Public Library by close of
business Thursday, December 11, 2025.
All entries must have designers name, age, and phone number on the underside of the house. No entry will be accepted without this information. Once the judging is complete, houses will be on display at the Poquoson Public Library starting December 8. Prizes will be awarded at the Library Holiday Jolly Jamboree on Dec. 14. Houses must be picked up by owners Dec. 20, 2025.​​​​

Cookies with the Grinch

Bring all your little Who's for crafts and most of all cookies with the Grinch. Be sure to bring a cell phone for photos. Enjoy face painting, door prizes.

KIDS NIGHT IN/PARENT’S NIGHT OUT ORNAMENT MAKING PARTY
Make your holidays complete with this ornament making party as we will set up three stations for crafting to create just the right Christmas ornaments. It’s a perfect night to get into the festive mood. Snacks and hot chocolate provided. This night is perfect for parents to get that last minute Christmas Shopping out of the way or prepare for the surprises of Christmas. Don’t worry mom -we’ll keep the kids busy this evening.
